General Description ofAluminium Strontium Alloys
Modifiers transform the coarse plate-like crystals of silicon in to finely dispersed granular shapes. This improves mechanical properties and machinability. Being metallic modifier, the addition is safer and more effective compared to salts. Used for hypo-eutectic alloys only.
SATA Modifier Alsr can optimize the form and distribution of eutectic silicon, improve the material synthetic mechanical properties as well as minimize hot cracking tendency.
